The strategic decision started with the commissioning of Size 7 sheetfed presses and was continued consistently with the installation of the world's first large-format 4/4 perfecting press in 2002.
Production reliability in Size 7 format is provided by three perfecting devices, a 6-colour+coater unit and four 5-colour units. With three-shift operation, aprinta druck thus offers one of the largest sheetfed printing capacities in Europe. With this potential, there are virtually no limits in terms of performance capabilities for our domestic and foreign customers.
The product range includes high-quality non-fiction and guidebooks, atlases in XXL format, comprehensive encyclopaedias, durable school textbooks as well as sophisticated illustrated books and catalogues.
At the beginning of 2010, the production portfolio of aprinta druck was extended to include digital printing.
